This is a story as told by the great Swami Vivekananda during one of the lectures when he was travelling across the great country of India.

 

In a small village there used to be a very Virtuous lady who is very noble and totally devoted to her husband. She is like the Sita in the Ramayana. She used to go very early in the morning almost around 3 a.m. in the morning to the temple tank and take her daily bathing activity and come back home so that nobody looks at her or sees her. She was very Virtuous and this was a practice which was going on for a long time.

Another woman in that same village who was a women of character .She also used to go very early in the morning to the same Temple Tank and take bath as she also didn't want others to see her as to what she was doing.

 

It so happened on a particular day both women were taking bath at the same time, the noble and Virtuous lady taking bath saw the other women and she perceived that there is one another Noble lady like her in that village .The call girl seeing the noble lady perceived that like her there is also another lady in the village and you all must have understood what the call girl must have perceived. She thought that she is not alone in the trade and there is one more in that village.

 

This is how people perceive things , which suits them and logical to their understanding.
